With over 600 startups, the Israeli fintech scene is booming.
Israel is already recognized as a global high-tech powerhouse, with the sector growing faster than the local supply of talent. The local market has often been used by Israeli fintech entrepreneurs as a springboard to wider markets, in particular the US, and the solutions created in the country have been adopted by leading global financial institutions.
The rapid growth has attracted a steady stream of investment, securing the country a spot at the forefront of global fintech innovation and earning it the nickname “startup nation.” The high concentration of startups also makes Tel Aviv a good host for industry events.
The upcoming FinTech Junction conference will attract about 1,500 attendees, including industry leaders. Some of our colleagues will also be attending and we’re very much looking forward to learning more about what makes the Israeli fintech scene so prosperous.
