This year marked the 28th edition of the prestigious ranking. In 2017, 300 tech companies applied for the ranking, with the top ones earning their place among the top 50 fastest growing technology companies in Central Europe.
Notable Polish winners in previous years include CD Projekt, the studio responsible for the Witcher game saga.
Among the Top 50 in Central Europe this year, 19 were Polish companies. The highest-ranked Polish company placed 3rd on the ranking. This year’s top-ranked company was Kiwi, a Czech company offering a convenient flight search engine, with a growth of 7,165%.
STX Next ranked 36th on this year’s Technology Fast 50 CE ranking with a growth of 408%. This marked the first time the Python software house applied for the ranking, and the result was met with enthusiasm by the people in the company.
This ranking is a testament to a lot of hard work by an incredibly talented team at STX Next. As we continue to grow rapidly, I expect we will be on this list for years to come. STX Next sent two representatives to the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 gala in Warsaw: Jakub (your friendly neighborhood Inbound Marketing Specialist) and Christian Mendoza, Business Development Associate. They came back from the event impressed and invigorated with new insights.
Perhaps our favorite quote from the gala was by Marcin Treder, CEO at UXPin. Marcin took to the stage during the gala to talk about the success of his company in the Silicon Valley, and shared a saying he imported from the US:

The presentations during the gala revolved around the wider context of Poland and its role in the region. Questions tackled during event included “What brand can Poland forge for itself in the broader tech landscape?” and “When will we see the first Polish unicorns and decicorns?”
